Friends R here Hot line!

Posted in Off Topic

MY LIFE IS TURNING TO CRAP AND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP IT! This is a place to come for help, for words of encouragement and to be up lifted. You may not believe in GOD, but I for one that does and I have seen what PRAYER can do. You need something to share, something is bothering you...here is the place to...seek friends who care! I just helped a guy who was about to kill himself! He lost his job, his wife and kids all in the same month. I have heard several of you that life changing events have hit you, me too! I don't want any of you to ever think you are alone, depression is a KILLER! Look at the news and someone wasn't a friend when they needed to be one! I am sure MANY here will join me in being here for you! You can keep between friends and PM us! Life is too precious for heart ache to be left alone! Who among the Realm will join me? Heck, maybe no one will use this...but it is here! I rather have a ton of dust on it, then knowing I could of helped but I just didn't take the time to offer it!

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

We all make our own realities, it's just a matter of whether we think that the glass is half empty or half full... are we going to be forever depressed because people died or left, or are we going to be thankful for the good times we had with them and get on with our lifes and make the best of it, which is what everybody dead or alive would want us to do anyway.

I'm not often depressed anymore . I used to now I pride myself on making people happy . but you're right like can be too crazy for people to deal with alone so I fully endorse you dude.

I def know how it can be first hand. A few years ago when I was 22 (wow 7 years already!) I had to make the decision to keep my mother on life support (had a .01% chance without support or stay in a medically induced coma for the rest of her life) or to pull the plug and let nature take it's course. This occured on Dec 22nd. We decided she wouldn't want to spend the rest of her life putting a burden on people like that. So we shut the machines off and with in a 60 seconds she passed while I held her hand. A week later my ex wife left me for a friend of mine and just left and moved to Canada. A month after that my step father passed away due to a bad liver (the last thing he said to me was "I just can't live without your mother." 6 months after that my grandmother (my hero) passed away. They found stage 4 lung cancer and tried to "crack" her open to remove what they could and the surgery was too much of a strain and caused her to have a small heart attack which paralyzed her left side. Two days later she had a massive heart attack and passed away. And about a year after that my grandfather was killed by the engine of a bulldozer falling on him and crushing him. Everything put a whole lot of things into perspective and I learned that you can't be sad and want to run from life, you have to be happy that your loved ones have moved on and aren't in pain any longer. They will always be with me in my heart and due to the circumstances, my brother and myself have become best friends. Talking to someone about troubling issues is something that EVERYONE needs to do from time to time. Never feel too proud to do so. You have friends, even if you have never seen the person, it doesn't mean we won't listen. I'm glad you posted this crea!

I've never had first hand experience of depression and such but I do know I'm happy to listen. We're a friendly bunch here so I'm sure I talk for other members too (mentioning no names), so even though it may only be typed words, I hope if needed my words could bring comfort to any who may need them.
