Inhumanoids' Tendril; video game superstar?

I was reading some of the recent articles at Hardcore Gaming 101, and was amused to see that the programmers/artists of an old 1989 Commodore 64 computer game, called Project Firestart, bought an Inhumanoids Tendril toy and used digitized images of that for all the monsters in the game.
