Working on Origins Battle Cat

Could anyone suggest the best paint to use on the new Battle Cat? I don't have an airbrush, so I'm looking for spray paint ideally, black and a dark metallic gunmetal grey. I plan on painting the cat as well as the armor, and I'm not sure what kind of plastic they're made of.
