Thanks to you I'm never going to look at a bowl of Spaghetti-O's the same again.
Seriously though, this movie was as good as I could have wanted. There were lots of homages to the original films without just ripping them off and lots of changes to keep old-school fans guessing. Sure there were things that could have been done differently but it would have risked pushing the movie into being either a straight remake or not an Evil Dead movie.

I saw the originals as a kid ( single digit years old 6 or 7 ) and I became a life long fan. Now as an adult I just saw the rebooted version and It was awesome hands down now one of my new favorite horror films no matter what anyone says there they could have done this or done that it doesn't matter because it was well put together and gruesome .
If you don't like horror true horror don't see this movie , if you can make it through the opening scene just remember it just started ! So I hope you all go see Evil Dead and have a good time .
Just a helpful tip don't eat any spaghettio's before you see this movie .

Have fun

What are all the popular comics out there to read or what are you all reading or collecting???

I'm into reading Spawn and older Batmans. But my favorite line is the original Ultimate Spider-man by Brian Micheal Bendis. I love the clone saga and the origin of the symbiote suit and Carnage! ...[See More]

What Novels Do You Suggest? in Off Topic by shapp

I am a huge fan of Neil Gaiman (American Gods, Neverwhere, etc...), China Mieville (Perdido Street Station, The Scar, etc...), Harry Potter, Noise, Brains a Zombie Memoir, contemperary fantasy, and modern horror. I'm looking for something new to get into that might be some fun reads. By the by, I don't really like LOTR type fantasy and such as that though.

Help me out my peoples! =D...[See More]

The Hunger Games books are very good. Another good book, though it's more of an everyday life based book(not really adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, etc) is Deadline by Chris Crutcher. it's about a kid in high school(just starting senior year) and he finds out he has a year to live. So, he decides to do everything he's been meaning to do and everything he's ever wanted to do. Extraordinary book, excellent writing, very smart, solid story, very humorous, and my only warning would be strong language(if that offends you at all) and there's some fairly heavy material(as in really serious life drama sort of stuff). It is such an amazing book though. don't know if you'd be interested or not, but it's my favorite book.

Hey buddy,
I couldn't recomend the MHI books any more positively. Monster Hunter International and the 3 that follow. The fourth, being brand new last month. Monsters, badasses and humor, all written by a gun nut, Larry Correia. I couldn't put them down. I think they just released a giant book with the first 3 all in one.

Really doesn't surprise me, almost everything on TV is staged. Which episode was it that they filmed?
Not really sure didn't bother to ask. But if memory serves, they set up a Godzilla stand

They filmed an episode at my local shop frank & sons collectable show... the Show is SOOOOO staged. They had the "collector" come in to franks and happen to stumble on to a booth that had his holy grail ...mind you they set up this booth for the episode earlier that day.

You in Maine? The scary thing is in the last 15 years we're getting more and more out here in PA, I mean there is a fault under us but it didn't do much. It moved in 1986 or so and 1998 but now that they're drilling for shale oil there's quakes all over the place including the middle a city.

wonder Woman TV shot gets second look... in Off Topic by crea-torX

Well, a different and younger director/writers any who! The pilot failed extremely bad and was canceled from ABC line up earlier this year. But taking a Smallville like on the character and less costume is there answer...If Wonder Woman in "costume" can make TV series, how in the world is she gonna make on the big screen. Super-heroes in the comics, have costumes or uniforms....period! Take that away, what do you have? You have fans demanding Clark put on the suit and I don't mean a 3 piece with a shirt and tie either! I like many fans were extremely disappointed yet again, only to find a glimpse of Superman in the final episode! It's like directors or somebody at WB once again decided that "calling a pers...[See More]
