One of the MVPs of Star Trek Beyond is Simon Pegg’s Scotty. He first encounters Jay’lah on Altamid, who leads him to her “home”: the missing USS Franklin which will be the crew’s salvation and their means of escape. Once he’s onboard, he grabs an old bomber jacket which he wears for the rest of the film. The base figure is a Scotty from the Playmates Star Trek line of 2009 and was completed in 2016.
