I had an old scorpion venom figure lying around I ruined when I was about 9 thinking I'd be the next glenn webb. I already had several figures based on the ultimate spiderman comics so I figured I'd start an ultimate spiderman collection and turn this guy into something worth displaying on my shelf. I thought the body was a perfect match for the venom of earth 1610 given how the upper body was much bulkier than the rest and how it was tall, but not too tall. Used Testors Model Masters paint, base coated with flat black, dry brushed with white, then comepletely painted over with a dark pearlesant purple. Sculpted with milliput superfine white. Hardest part of this custom was probably sculpting the front jagged teeth considering I've barely worked with the putty previously and the teeth had to be so small. The teeth on the body were made from toothpicks hotglued on there then sculpted over while the tendrils were made from bendy wire and hotglue. So yeah, for my first ever successful custom I think this turned out great.
