This took forever to get done and have more photos to add when I can be bothered to edit them. The original Battlefront games were some of my favourites and the dark trooper always looked so menacing and if you’re skilled enough to play as him you can take out tonnes of rebel scum! Equipped with heavier armour and a jump pack, this unit can charge into any fight through the air and make a quick escape if need to. In the first game his weapon is more similar to a bowcasters spread effect but in the second he is equipped with a unique electricity jolting gun that can inflict splash damage injuring multiple targets.

To make this figure I took a black stormtrooper figure and the articulated waist of a vintage storm trooper and the helmet was cut up several times to enlarge it and flatten it. Using miliput there was a lot of sculpting done to the helmet. The jump pack was made from fodder (not bantha fodder just spare parts) and a space troopers jet pack. You can’t see any of its original parts as it’s sculpted over completely and was just used to shape and be filler. I used the pegs for foot holes on stands for the torso and leg silver parts. The upper arm armour was removed completely and resculpted then using two bits of plastic and some cloak material from a lotr haldir cloak I made pauldrons then sculpted over them to get the size and shape. The legs and feet were completely covered with miliput to get the correct armour and under armour design and to make the feet wider and bulkier as he must have thicker armour to survive a landing from the air after jumping. The gun is a standard storm trooper one but the pretend coil is the tip of a IG lancer spear. He stands out quite nicely.
