Quite possibly the most popular character in the Star Wars Universe, Han Solo holds a strange place in his final appearance (continuity-wise) in The Force Awakens. He occupies the slot usually held by the venerable old wise man who guides our heroes, and provides a touchstone to a previous time little known to our central characters. But Han Solo isn’t a Qui-Gon or an Obi-Wan, two figures who helped usher in the “revenge of the sith” and the “return of the Jedi.” He’s the cynic, the rogue, the reluctant hero who puts himself first until the last minute when the war between what he could do and what he should do comes to a head and he chooses to risk it all to help someone he loves. Perhaps it’s that trait that gives us a glimpse of where this sequel trilogy is headed- EPISODE IX: “RISE OF THE REBELLION” perhaps?? Blah blah blah. They didn’t make one of these, so I made it myself in an afternoon in May 2016. Enjoy!!
