Vivec was a member of the Tribunal, once a mortal, he became a god like being using the power of Lorkhan’s heart. Vivec was a warrior and a poet though in game he’s achieved enlightenment and understands chim and won’t engage the player in combat unless attacked. Muatra (his spear) is referred to and was probably used to kill Lord Nerevar, though accounts differ and the actual spear itself may just be a metaphorical concept. There is art from the developers of the use of this spear so I took that into consideration.

To make Vivec I took a Toybiz classics Spider-Man that I had previously badly painted into a metal Spiderman when I was younger and added Aragorn hands ,a Legolas head, Mr Fantastic feet and Hobbit Toes as well as added an upper arm swivel. I sculpted over him then added details slowly as well as enlarging the mouth and eyes and sculpting eyebrows ears and the armour with some fodder for support. The belt and buckle was sculpted over a spare bit of detailed robe for the loin cloth as well as some details around the pants part of the figure.

To make Muatra I traced the shape of the spearhead, from the image of the murder of lord Nerevar, onto a piece of plastic with a sharpie, cut it out, then set it into a broken Azog mace handle with Eowyns spear handle out the other end. I sculpted both sides, one at a time and then shortened the pole to match in game spear lengths and detailed it using chainmail for a particular look. I went with daedric as it seemed logical this spear would be as sources point to it being part of Molag Bal as well as from Vivec.

He’s smaller than Dagoth Ur as you can see as he is Dumner height. In fact Vivec is half Chimer and half Dumner (Dark elf) following Azura’s curse on the Chimer people for mocking the gods and the tribunal breaking the oath not to ascend to God status by using Lorkhan’s heart.

In short if you don’t play Elder Scrolls Games or haven’t played Morrowind there’s a lot of lore.
