My favourite character from the Bleach manga/anime. Gin Ichimaru was both villain and tragic hero. Plus he seemed to just enjoy being bad - like he had no reason for being bad apart from because he had nothing better to do - of course turned out he did have a good reason but it was only revealed at the very end. And it was only because of him that Aizen was defeated, in my opinion. He spared Ichigo's life in their last battle when he could have easily killed him. Ichigo was almost like his back-up just in case he failed - which he did but what can you do? Ichigo was the hero.

Anyway, had this project for the longest time because I just couldn't get the face right and that was the most important part of Gin. I must have tried and failed a dozen times before getting right. It's not perfect, but I'm happy with it. And I will eventually fix up his outfit. I know it should be baggy pants not a robe, but my sewing skills aren't that good. And he should also have a white undershirt as well.

Maybe one day.. But for now I'm ok with how it is..
