I wanna give a huge shoutout to StarkResilient, without whom, Agent Venom wouldn't have his holster for his revolver.

One character I was very glad to see get a figure four years ago was Agent Venom (his solo book was great!). It was a crazy time. Marvel Legends at Walgreens?! Madness... at the time. Who knew that four years later we'd get a line of Fantastic Four figure out of them? Anywho, while I loved Agent Venom getting a figure at the time, he definitely wasn't all he could have been. For starters he was on that craptacular Face-Off Punisher base body (I HATE the biceps on that figure, the chest and even the hip ball joints were bad, too). That base body was sorely out of date when Agent Venom came out compared to other Marvel Legends figures of the time. Fast forward a few years, and Wal*Mart had the Pink (Vibranium/ANAD) Black Panther figure on clearance for $9 a piece and I decided to grab one for a MUCH needed Agent Venom upgrade.

I used a hairdryer to heat and swap the forearms below the elbow, and from the knees down. I used a flat black to paint over the pink markings on the lower torso and crotch piece. Everything else was easily popped or swapped on. I also painted the white lines on his thighs for accuracy. I also had to touch up the spider on him because for whatever reason, Hasbro decided to get very stingy with the white paint. Finally, I painted the Taskmaster holster black. I bought a cast of the Clint Barton head from the Ronin/Elektra 2-pack a few years ago and had it painted by a talented guy by the name of Clay Orr, and remembered I had it when I was taking pics. I feel that I now have the ultimate figure of the Agent Venom character; the figure he (and we) always deserved.
