Brother Jauffre of the order of Talos who lives quietly as a monk in Weynon Priory near the city of Chorrol is anything but a quiet monk. He’s the Grandmaster of the Order of the Blades, sworn to protect the Emperor. I chose to make Jauffre in his monk robes as that’s how you meet him but obviously I had to make his Akaviri dai-katana. He is a Breton therefore I made him a little shorter than other Oblivion Characters. I used a balrog battle Gandalf base body with Legolas wrists and hands for swivel movement and shortened his legs. For his robes I used a couple of sheriff of Nottingham riding coats and fodder for the straps. Then the rope tie came from spare Bilbo hobbit accessories and the hood from Legolas. I sculpted some detail in the upper front and the head was from the gondorian swordsman just made thinner and resculpted as I saw the potential in his face to become Jauffre in likeness. I sculpted his hair, face and eyebrows and used a spare Gimli braid. The sword was from a deadpool I cut the blade off and inserted a length go plastic shaped to the blade and the sculpted over and reinforced with super glue. I also painted his shoes to match the doeskin ones he wears. Overall happy with this more straight forward custom but it took some time to get right. May Talos guide you friends. ![]() |

Looks just like him! Impressive! I would critique to sand down the sculpt with 1500-2500 grit imperial wetordry sandpaper first before painting... And thin out your paint just a tad more. There is some cakeage.
waiting in front of the black gate, in „ return of the king“. Watch out for captain mustache !
Very well done, Deaditor ! KUDOS !
Thanks sometimes one can see potential in a face sculpt and this certainly works!
