I had the privilege of watching the West End transfer of the musical Heathers, starring Carrie Hope Fletcher. It's an adaptation of the 1988 movie starring Winona Ryder and I think it's a great adaptation of the movie. It has a light and colourful exterior, but the darkness of the humour is kept largely intact, and a lot of the jokes are of the "oh, I'm going to hell for laughing at this" variety. Needless to say, Carrie Hope Fletcher is a superstar and is amazing as Veronica.

While watching the musical, I thought it would be fun to make custom figures of the Gotham City Sirens as the Heathers. I looked online to see if this had been done before, and came across a couple of pieces of fanart in the vein. Now, the personalities of the characters don't track entirely, but I thought "three Heathers, three Sirens" and decided to go ahead with it. Batgirl also seemed to fit the Veronica part nicely.

The uniformity of the costumes is emphasised in the Broadway and West End costume designs. The base figures are either regular or full-on zombie Liv Moore figures. I struggled the most with the paint rub around the elbows of the jackets because the sleeves are white, if you guys have any tips about how to deal with that, I'd love to hear them.

For Harley (Heather Quinzel), I used the head from the New 52 DC Direct Harley, and the jacket from Coulson. It is a mite oversized, but it has a bit of an 80s look to it that way, I guess.

For Poison Ivy (Heather Isley), I used the head from a DC Collectibles Wonder Woman, with the tiara dremelled down, and took the hair from a Twilight Victoria. The lower arms and hands are from Felicity Smoak. The jacket is from a Tenth Doctor.

For Catwoman (Heather Kyle), I used the head from a Twilight Alice, with the cat ears hairband sculpted on. The jacket is from a Marvel Legends Professor X.

For Batgirl (Veronica Gordon), I used the head from a different Wonder Woman figure and the hair from a Marvel Legends Black Widow. The skirt is from Nico Minoru and the jacket is from an X-Men movie Professor X.

I've never really made four customs at once, but it was fun and I hope they turned out well. If I feel compelled to make him, Jason Todd will be J.D. Thanks for looking!
