I have to admit, I am really proud of this one. I've been a huge fan of Usagi ever since he first appeared in the 80's TMNT cartoon. And, while not everyone enjoyed the 2014-16 movies, the figures have actually become one of my favorite designs for the characters. So, I wanted to make a realistic looking Usagi that would fit in with my collection. The torso, arms, and coat are from a 2014 Splinter. I gave him the big, billowy pants from an animated Dojo Splinter. I sliced the head off of a rabbit figurine that I found at Target and fit it to the body. To keep with the realistic fur texture, I cut the hands and feet from an 80's Usagi and used small screws and thumb tacks for pegs. I painted his kimono blue to match his comic colors and included his clan's symbol on his jacket. His swords are a pair of extra Movie Leonardo katanas I had laying around. Finally, I included his pet Tokage lizard, Spot. He's just a cheap apatosaurus figurine that I repainted. Let me know what y'all think.
