I used Nathan Drake for the base of the figure, sculpted and modified some parts to get the most accurate look of Joel's outfit from the game. Then, I used Seth Rollins for the head, sculpted both the hair and beard, then repainted it to look exactly like Joel. Also, some of his weapons and accessories were scratch built and some were just repainted and weathered.
