Warwolf was created by Billy Hansen and others at Cybertek Systems Inc. (a division of cybernetic research from Roxxon Energy Corporation) as a killer cyborg hunter that occurred before the creation of Deathlok. Billy Hansen and his colleagues placed a gray wolf brain on the cyborg's body. Since his incarceration, Harlan Ryker remotely activated him and sent him to attack all of his previous superiors who could testify against him for the creation of Deathlok. Billy Hansen was the first person that Warwolf attacked and killed him by breaking his car. Then he broke into the facilities of the National Security Agency, where he destroyed all the records belonging to Harlan Ryker's investigation. While traveling to Cybertek's main facilities inPaterson, New Jersey, where Deathlok was meeting with Jim Dworman. Deathlok discovered that Warwolf had the brain of a gray wolf and made sure that his systems were in non-lethal mode. After Deathlok could not prevent Warwolf from destroying the computer files, Warwolf escaped where he moved faster than Deathlok. When Deathlok infiltrated the Danbury Maximum Security Federal Penitentiary to confront Harlan Ryker, Warwolf also introduced himself and attacked Cybertek's account manager, John Rozum. Deathlok managed to prevent Warwolf from attacking John Rozum. Deathlok used his energy pistol to incapacitate Warwolf. Deathlok rescinded the "do not kill" parameter and removed Warwolf from his misery as he suffered a system failure and its organic components would fail in 6 hours.

Vince Marcus
Vince Marcus is a member of SHIELD's Monster Force Howling Commands. He is the field commander. It is still unknown when he joined SHIELD or why he is nicknamed Warwolf.

He has fought with firearms and also used his claws to infiltrate the "Lords of Lightning", an apocalyptic cult and led the assault on Stonehedge when Merlin and the fairies were bringing their world to ours.

Martin Reyna
Martin Reyna is an agent of SHIELD that is in charge of STAKE of Area 13 (abbreviation of Evaluation of special threats for known abnormalities), a division that is in charge of dealing with supernatural events. Martin was also working with Dr. Paul Kraye on secret projects that he feared that sooner or later Dum Dum Dugan's Discoverer Life Model Decoy would discover that they both had to get rid of Dum Dum Dugan before discovering them.

As part of the All-New All-Different Marvel event, Martin Reyna became the supervisor of the latest Howling Commandos led by Dum Dum Dugan.

Warwolf was with the Howling Commandos the moment they helped Old Logan rescue the Dracula Jubilee.
