hello out there!

yeah,this time I bring my first finished commission work for a friend,ex-working mate and great tattoo artist.nico from herz tattoo cologne...the insane spielberg-character freakazoid!

I've known the show while I was young,but wasn't a big fan.today I've watched it again (because I always do obsessive-like investigations of the characters I'm working on^^) and I must say that it's very,very funny!:D besides I was a big fan of the idea when I've been asked to do it,because I like how this crazy guy looks and I thought it's pretty fitting to my last custom (the tick) in style and cartoon era.

so I took a dc direct multiverse superman as nightwing as base (this guy couldn't even stand up because the cape was as heavy as the whole figure without it! :D),shortened the lower legs a little and dremelled down the head and boot/glove details.then I filled the gaps of the cape and belt,resculpted parts of the chest,collar,gloves,boots,belly and the entirely head (the hair on the back of the head are made of an gum block to prevent breaking the thin strains in case of falling backwards) and logo.then I'v given him a cel shaded repaint and glossy finish with vallejo and citadel.this was really a hard one 'cause the red,white and yellow base colors needed a LOT of coats...

now there he is and I love the result! hm,somehow I'm kind of sad about giving him away:'( but I think this place will be a good home for this little dude...
