This is made from a 1960's vintage figural plastic bottle in the shape of a whale. It was originally blue with yellow highlights. It resembled Hanna-Babera's cartoon version of Moby Dick and surprisingly I later found an H-B trademark image on it's bottom cap opening. Apparently it was intended to market the character but I had never seen it before. The bottle was used for either bubble bath or detergent soap. I felt it needed to be white and match his coloring from the TV show. I used acrylic multi-surface spray paint for white and hand painted the light blue bottom accent and black lines.
