This is a custom Chewbacca I have just finished working on.
He is part of a collection of custom figures I have been asked to make of various Star Wars characters made to fit in with the style of the vintage She-Ra 'Princess of Power' figures from the 1980's.
I used a 7” Playskool ‘Star Wars Jedi Force’ Chewbacca figure as a base, as I felt the height & overall look of this figure would fit in perfectly with the style of the vintage He-Man & She-Ra figures from the 1980’s.
I started by filling in the articulation points on his knees & shoulders.
Next I covered him in a layer of fine velvet flock to give him the same texture as Kowl & Clawdeen who were figures in the official ‘Princess of Power’ toy line.
Finally I repainted his satchel & added holographic details & a gem stone to complete his vintage look.
