Little known bit of trivia, when Mario was first introduced he had a blue shirt and red overalls, I think they switched it around to the red shirt and blue pants look pretty quick but this is how he looked in the original Donkey Kong and possibly the old Mario arcade game. Well someone wanted me to take this older Mario figure from 2002 and repaint it in the classic color scheme. Let me tell you, painting this thing was a HASSLE, I had to use an old bottle of testors enamel paint because it was the only thing that could cover in less than 3 coats.
