Prior to getting a legitimate Pizza Spider-Man, I broke down and got a KO. Once I got my real Spider-Man I decided to alter the KO and convert it into a battle damaged version. I used the half unmasked head, and added some apoxie sculpt to turn the grin into a grimace. I also sculpted some scratches and gashes around the body and finished the whole thing with a dark wash to dirty him up. It was a pretty quick project and made great use of the KO figure.
