I always loved the Dark Forces and Jedi Outcast games, so doing up a Kyle Katarn was a must.

Started with a Marvel Legends Ego body as a base, removed the belt & sash thing, and repainted the shirt then hit the body with some dry brushing.

The head is a recast version of the Cosmic Spidey alternate head. Bryar pistol and saber hilt, as well as head, from Casting Cave.
Shoulder pad from a Funko Fallout Lone Wanderer.

The belt is from a 1/6 scale Captain Antilles figure, painted and adjusted to fit Kyle's waist. The pouch is from a 1/6 Dragon Vietnam figure (it's an aid/compass pouch) and his holster is from Eadu Cassian Andor, with some adjustments to fit his blaster.

I bought an Ego recently for a SW custom really just for the cape, but was looking at the figure the color scheme made me think of Katarn. Cool to see someone had the same idea and executed it nicely already!

These guys look freakin' great next to Han, Chewy and the like. Definitely gonna give some Stormtroopers a run for their money.

Awesome recipe! I wouldn't have thought to use Ego. My first thought was maybe Kanan Jarrus, but the Ego build works a lot better for Kyle. Nicely done!
