I picked up a bunch of these 'Forces of Destiny' Sabine Wren figures for a good price and wanted to use them to expand my Mandalorian figure collection.

The FoD line is...interesting to say the least. The whole line is directed towards girls and for the most part, focuses solely on the women of the Star Wars universe. This is great and all, but when you see the figures, you get the sense that the designers weren't completely sure where to take the line.

For starters, all of the figures are actually about 11 inches tall instead of the usual 12 inches for 1/6 figures. While this is an odd choice to stop at, it isn't awful. Since all the characters are mostly women and the version of the character they portray are typically younger, the 11 inch figures actually fit quite well with normal 12 inch male figures, being just slightly shorter, so I guess I can't complain.

The weird thing about these figures overall however is their look. Instead of focusing more on realism or mirroring their film counterparts, they have more of a Bratz figure look with bigger eyes and more of an anime look. Not completely, but enough that you can see it in their design. It's a bit weird, but they are still able to fit in with other 1/6 figures, especially helmeted.

In any case, the base was a Sabine Wren figure like I said. For this figure, I ended up swapping the head out with a Leia figure I got in a fodder box to give her more variety, which you'll see in another figure.

All of the armor was repainted, weathered and sealed and she was given an assortment of weapons, in this case, a blaster rifle that used to be a shotgun and two of pistols from the base Sabine figure.

-11 inch height (which puts her more accurately on scale with typical 1/6 male figures)
