Needed to do something new for the sake of sanity, so here's Echo splattered in all that glorious space mud.

Took a few minutes to consider the easiest way to weather this fig. Started with a clone trooper and wiped away the markings so it was plain white, then handpainted all the markings and visor and let them dry. First used a dark blue, then went over it again with a light layer or lighter blue to create different tones, like the paint is fading. Then I used an emery board (really rough nail file) to lightly scrape at the paint to create the scratches. Used a drillbit and knife to create some battle damage, then made brown washes to muddy it up.

If you want the armor to look even more scratched up, use the emery board to create deep scratches all over the white armor (do it after you're done lightly scratching the paint). That way the brown wash will pool into all the scratches and accentuate the damage.
