Admittedly, Leatherhead and Monkey Brains were are just repaints. Monkey Brains just needed his pants colored. (Why would the not make it look like he's wearing pants?) Leatherhead got a full dry brush treatment. Slash was a bit more complicated. I hated the original figure's short, stubby legs. So when the Mix & Match Mutations version came out, I saw a chance for improvement. I wanted to keep the Mutations sculpt, but added articulation by dremmeling the arms just so to fit the lower arms from the basic figure. A little detail painting and now, I have a great Slash figure.
