Hi guys, for this custom I once again used the a Black Widow figure as a base. This time I created my favourite Resident Evil character Claire Redfield in her original Code Veronica appearance, not the Darkside Chronicles re-imaging of the costume.

For the body I once again sanded the catsuit to remove as much of the original sculpt as I could, then I smoothed this to provide me with a clean simple base. From here I sculpted her a vest, belt and the end of her trousers from milliput clay. Once this dried I painted a few coats of thin white paint to prime the body. Then I painted her arms,neck and waist with a few coats of a skin tone paint. I then painted her jeans a dark blue, her top black, her vest red (as well as adding the yellow flame decal at the front of her vest) and then painted her a pink choker necklace. The hardest part to paint was her "Let Me Live" decal on her back which I think came out alright considering the scale but it would be an area to improve on if I tried to make this figure again (which well most likely happen as Claire's my fave Resi character,though it'd probably be on a large scale).

For the head I used the same Black Widow figure's head as I did for my MK1 Sonya however this time I removed the bottom half of Black Widow's hair. From here I sculpted her a ponytail from milliput ( I also had sculpted her two small thin cone shaped pieces for the each side of her hair but they had broken off so I decided just to leave them off). I fully repainted her face and skin tone which help hides the fact her and Sonya share the same face sculpt. I painted the hair and then placed the head back onto her body.

For her bow gun I used an old toy gun from the CORPS figure line, which is a bit too large but is currently the only spare weapon I have which would suit Claire. I gave the weapon I slight paint job of cheap sliver metallic paint and black paint which certainly improved the weapon's look. The weapon is slightly to big for the Claire to hold but with a little blue tack she seems to hold it fine so it'll be her weapon for til I find a better choice.

P.S who's looking forward to Resi 2 Remake. I'm definitely looking forward to it as the original Resi 2 was always my fave, everything I've seen for the remake looks great and I can't wait to get a proper look at Claire's new look. I'll definitely be making a classic Resi 2 Claire and maybe the Remake Claire as well.
