To make Sonya Blade I used two WWE figures, that of the Bella sisters that came in a double pack. I had used the Brie?(the figure with the trousers) for Sonya's body. I sculpted her the detail at the top of the top and the circles of her belt (these were then super glued on) from milliput whilst I painted the rest of her body the correct colours. For her head I had use the other sister's ( I think Nikki) head due to the closed smile, and I felt that fit Sonya's character better. I tried my best to cut off her long hair, leaving only the base of the hair. Then I sculpted her head band, fringe and her ponytail (which then had to be super glued to the back of head) from once again, milliput. I then painted her hair blonde and her headband black. The big issue I had making this figure was when I was placing the head onto the body. It turned out I sculpted her top's collar too high, not providing the head enough space to sit properly on the body thus I had to remove some of the clay which did sort of mess up the top which I did try to smooth out and hide the imperfections though it's still a bit noticeable. I have been making a few customs over the past few years and have felt this Sonya was the best I've made though there is still area for improvements. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated.
