Here is a concept for Cover Girl, from G.I. Joe! Sometimes she is portrayed as a redhead, or even a gal with orange hair; and other times, Cover Girl is shown as a blonde. And she is a tank operator. The base model was a 5-inch-tall McFarlane Toys walking dead figure. So she is slightly taller than the average G.I. Joe toy from Hasbro. I sculpted her hair, her boots, her chest, and her new thigh straps and holster, on the left side. I recolored her, and then gave her a new handgun, for the new left holster. I also gave her new arms and new hands from another toy, with better wrist articulation. Her body articulation is quite limited, per the standard mold of the toy. And she can’t get set in a running pose. She can only be posed as standing, or taking limited steps forward. I did sand down her “lower hip skirt” that was blocking the top of her thighs, yet that didn’t affect the inner limited ball joints of her legs, which get inserted into the hip sockets. But still, she looks good, and she is perfect for displaying as a “sexy desk buddy” in your home office or studio. She'll be on sale via ebay later tonight! Enjoy and Share! ![]() |
