This guy started out as a Spartan figure from a Halo series made by Joyride for the first Halo game, way before the series got really popular and the figures became better detailed...which was apparent with this figure.

Not that it was bad, just that it was very bland. It lacked the detail later figures had and even its stature was a little bulky for the character. Anyhow, I've had him sitting around for a while and finally decided to do something with him, namely just spruce him up a bit.

The original figure was retouched-the 'damage' was redone with silver and detail was highlighted. I also hit the whole body with a very very light drybrushing of brown to make the armor look dirty, especially on the boots.

To make him more unique, I gave him some extra pieces from the fodder bin-a heavy backpack, ammo magazine on his chest and two pieces of shoulder armor. Just little additional details to make him pop more. Finally, he was given new weapons, weathered, and everything was sealed.
