Wulff Yularen served in the Republic Navy often assisting Jedi Kenobi and Skywalker. Later, he went on to serve the Galactic Empire as a Colonel in the Imperial Security Bureau. Sadly, Yularen was aboard the first Death Star during the Battle of Yavin and perished upon it's destruction.

One of the cooler aspects of Star Wars is the sheer number of background characters, many of which were even nameless, in the movies that have gone on to have their lives expanded upon to become great characters themselves be it through the cartoons, novels, or comics. Characters like Yularen, Captain Rex, and even people like Willrow Hood have gone on to become interesting, and unique characters in their own right.

I actually completed Yularen last summer, but the eyes were a little derpy, and then we moved and he got packed away then put on the Star Wars shelf with everyone else. It wasn't until a couple weeks ago that I realized I never submitted him.

Like many others Imperial customs, Yularen began with a Krennic body. I repainted him, and modified his badge. The head was a cast of a Ronan Wave Reed Richards head I had originally molded for a Monocle custom, but with a slightly different mustache sculpted I thought he also worked well for A New Hope Yularen.
