We moved last summer and in doing so I lost a lot of shelf space because the old house had a built in bookcase into the basement wall. So for now I'm down to just a couple skinny bookcases meaning my Legends and DC figures are too numerous to display. But it did mean I could get my 25th Anniversary and newer G.I. Joes back out. But because of the Joe Club being too pricey for my taste I'm going to fill in my collection with customs. First up is Courtney Krieger fashion model turned Joe grease monkey. In the first Joe miniseries she had long blonde hair. In later episodes she had short red hair. Then again in the live action movie she was blonde as she also appears in more recent years in the comics. I couldn't decide what version of her I liked best so I borrowed a bit from various eras to create my own kind of Ultimate Cover Girl using: 25th Anniversary Lady Jaye torso 50th Anniversary Stilleto thighs Rise of Cobra Cover Girl lower legs Rise of Cobra Scarlett arms Marvel Universe Sue Storm head Marvel Universe Jewel hair Marvel Universe Storm vest Marvel Civil War Sharon Carter belt And now you know. And knowing, of course, is half the battle! ![]() |
