Got this figure in a trade recently strictly because I wanted to tear it apart and mod it. I thought the LCBH Superpatriot figure's legs were pretty cool looking and I felt that the Mattel Freeze seemed too buff compared to how he's been portrayed in a lot of the cartoons and such. The torso, backpack, gun and boots are all from the Mattel figure. The crotch, lower waist and legs down to the mid calf are Superpatriot. I had to sculpt the upper part of the waist up to meet with the chest armor with Milliput. I used Plastic Welder to sculpt some ice/steam effects on the gun and backpack. The belt was stolen from ML Face-Off Red Skull. Figure is painted with Games Workshop paints: Chaos Black primer, Boltgun Metal, Mithril Silver, Skull White, Space Wolves Grey, Enchanted Blue, Shadow Grey, Asurmen Blue Wash, Blood Red and 'Ardcoat. *Ingredients List: -Mattel Ice Cannon Mr. Freeze - Upper Body, Backpack, Gun, Tubing, and Boots -LCBH Superpatriot - Legs, Crotch, lower waist -ML Face-Off Red Skull - belt -McFarlane's Tortured Souls Moribundi - Small vial underneath gun, small tubing -All else - Milliput, Plastic Welder ![]() |

Anyone ever try adding dye to clear epoxy- to tint it?
I think he needs a little black on the legs somewhere, but darn, great painting
