This is another custom I was asked to make of a character called Joya (The Bubble Maiden) in the style of the vintage She-Ra Princess of Power figures from the 80’s.

To Create her I used a vintage Peekablue figure as a base & repainted her outfit using enamel paints.

I then added some pearl jewels to her body & made her a skirt that would tie in with the overall look of the other vintage POP figures.

I cut off all Peekablue’s green hair & rerooted new nylon doll hair in pink & white. I then styled it using the boiling water method.

To finish her look, I gave her a small bubble wand & cast her a new shield from clear resin.

Thank you, I’m really pleased you like her. If you check youtube there are lots of doll hair tutorials there. I basically just taught myself by checking them out. If you do a search for sindy reroot you will see a video for the ‘knot method’. Thats the method I use.
