I was really hoping Netflix Iron Fist would get some sort of comic book inspired suit but unfortunately the best we got was the flash back reel of the old ironfist in a military-like version of the comic book suit, a flash back to Danny Rand in a yellow and green robe in K’un-Lun, and a green unbutton shirt he wore for the promotional materials in Defenders. So I decided to create my own gritty Netflix concept design of Iron Fist. I used a Karl Mordo base and a regular comic book Iron Fist head. Then I repainted it head to toe to make him fit the color scheme but also to give it some dirt and dimension. I made sure to include pupils for the eyes to maintain some level of realism as he would still need to be able to see through the mask to fight.
