Sprite is made from a combination of the ML Spider-Gwen, and the ML Spider-Girl's (Anya Corazon's) upper arms. The head sculpt is the unmasked Gwen Stacy, with the hair removed.

I used Sugru to fill in the head sculpt, and to create the hair. The X emblem on her head was razor cut from a printed piece of paper, and painted over several times, then glued onto the head. The X emblem on her belt was taken from the ML Juggernaut wave Kitty Pryde's belt, repainted, and glued on.

After disassembling the body, and sanding the joints, I used Tamiya white primer on the body parts. Then I laid 4 base coats of Vallejo Model Color Flat Yellow on the torso, lower arms, and boots. I used Privateer Press P3 Thamar Black for her mask, upper arms, and upper legs. I used Vallejo Model Color Vermillion for the red accents, and P3 Midland Flesh (with a little added black) for the skin tone on her neck. The hair and irises were painted with Vallejo Game Color Dark Fleshtone. The paint job was sealed with Plaid Clear Acrylic Sealer.

This is my first custom, so be gentle ") I want to say that I've been lurking figurerealm for several years, and there are too many customs that inspired this. Thank you all.

I've always loved Paul Smith's run on the X-Men, in the early '80s. That will always be my X-Men.

Thank you for looking. I hope you enjoy!

Dude! This is awesome! I can't believe this is your first! You're obviously a perfectionist and take your time crafting which is a key element in making a great custom. Prep work and proper planning go a long way and you clearly did that. The results are outstanding. Keep up the good work!

Thank you, Legendary Customs and Redmist. My favorite issue of The Uncanny X-Men is #166, where Kitty meets Lockheed. I doubt a figure with this uniform will be made, so I went for it. Yes indeed, 150 grit, then 400 grit sandpaper were friends.
