Basically I purchased the original DC Direct Morrigan figure, many moons ago, in a broken condition. I repaired, added to and customized the figure and I’ve had it on display since.
The first repair element is the right hand which had snapped off at the peg. I have replaced the peg with a plastic rod so it is stable and maintain its original articulation. It’s slight of kilter at some points but is hidden fairly well.
The next repair/addition is that her leg had broken off at the original T crotch design. As a collector/customiser I personally despise the T Crotch so took it upon myself to replace her entire lower half. The figure that kindly donated her legs was a Resident Evil 5 Shiva Figure by NECA. The new legs afford a wide range of articulation and I have refinished them to her original look.
The last custom element is her ‘rag skirt.’ I pilfered this from a lord of the rings figure, cut it down and secured it.
The figure does come with its original staff.
So in summary the upper half is essentially untouched from the original DC Direct figure apart from the hand repair and all other articulation remained intact including the swivel at the ribs.
Any glue glue work has been done with epoxy resin and apart from a spray paint base coat on the legs it is all acrylic work.
