It took months just to find an appropriate base figure, but my quest to make figures of the Champions from Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, continues with the second champion I met during my playthrough, Daruk the Goron champion. I needed a big huge fat guy figure that had tiny stumpy legs, a figure that did not exist at the time when I finished Mipha, thankfully Tomy released a Snorlax figure for their Pokemon line which had the perfect figure. I made the forearms and hands pretty much from scratch on top of Snorlax's tiny claws, but the legs are from an old ninja turtle figure glued to the bottom of Snorlax's feet carved down to look like thighs. I think I've used more apoxie sculpt on this figure than I have any other figure this size. The champion sash is a blue plastic bag and he has a chain made from a...chain, that I painted gold.
