Let me start off by saying...I am a BIG fan of ANYTHING Linsner...I fell in LOVE with his art style back when I 1st layed my eyes on a Cry for Dawn comic...back in the 90's...in the back of my comic store...way up on the top shelf...sealed in a baggie with a sticker that said...MUST BE 18.
Ever since then, anything Linsner did, I wanted...even if he just did the cover. The other day I got a Betty Page comic...because he did the cover.
Now that thats out of the way...
I feel that when I started making customs like 2-3 years ago, I wanted to get myself to a point where I would be able to make a decent interpretation of DAWN...in this particular outfit. DAWN has an endless assortment of outfits and they are all stunning...but I absolutely LOVED how she looked in this outfit from DAWN...Sirius issue number 3.
We've had a couple really nice DAWN figures...one by Mcfarlane (body was nice but head seemed a bit off) and by Diamond which looked really nice but it was too black and white looking.
So I felt I've gained enough knowledge from the customs I've previously done...and I decided it was TIME.
DAWN'S body is a Legends MJ, her head is a Legends Phoenix
Hair is all sculpt
Arm lace skull sleeves are just drawn on to give a hint that theres something going on there
The flower is sculpt with bendy wire...my 1st time making a flower...very happy with how it looks...it actually looks like a flower.
Neck choker is sculpt
And those very weird floppy boots are sculpt...with buttons going down the sides...very happy with how those look also...they weren't easy
The HALO was just an added bonus...not really needed but you can't have DAWN without a halo...made from a Legends effect...and it GLOWS

The mailbox was 3d printed and I got it from someone on facebook.
The mailbox was a necessity because it really completes this for me as DAWN sat on a mailbox in the comic.

I know she's not perfect...a bit rough in spots...but I can't express the good feels I have when I see my DAWN on my shelf.
Can't WAIT to get out of facebook jail and show her to Linsner.
