Another 2 quick customs I had photos of together so I thought I'd submit them together. Phoenix was a repainted Figma Archetype with a Figma Samus face and sculpted hair. Professor X was a Figma something which had a student suit, with a Lex Luthor head and sitting on an old Prof X toybiz hover chair. Almost all my X-Men customs are sorta partnered up on my shelf. Gambit with Rogue, Colossus with Kitty, Wolverine with Nightcrawler. I had Beast, Storm and Cyclops sorta on their own so now I can partner Phoenix with Cyc and Professor X pairing with both Beast and Storm. These guys get along with everyone and not with just 1 person in particular. I know you could say that about Wolverine and Nightcrawler as well, but they were quite close to each other as far as I remember from the comics. I was pretty sure Wolvie, Nightcrawler and Colossus went off on their own adventures several times. Anyway, my custom X-Men collection is getting pretty respectable now.  Please wait... |

Well firstly I just gotta say, all my customs are just for me! They're not commissions or anything so the quality of my work really only has to satisfy my not-so-high standards
But, yeah the paint rub is pretty much the same with Figmas as it is with Marvel Legends or any other figure. The biggest difference is that replacing joints requires very little effort for Figmas and they come in almost every colour depending on the Figmas you have. So its not as painful with Figmas as it is with other figures because mistakes can be corrected quite easily
