This is the last figure I have been asked to make for 2017 so I thought I should post her before the year is over

For this one I was asked to make Wonder Girl in the style of the vintage ‘She-Ra princess of Power’ figures from the 1980’s.

To make her I used the head & legs from a vintage Catra figure, the upper body from a Peekablue figure & the arms from a Glimmer figure.
I started by sanding the details off her upper body & repainting her costume with enamel paints.

Before the paint had dried I added a layer of fine red glitter just to give her costume a more Princess of Power feel. When the glitter/paint had dried I glued on some small craft stars to her upper body & down the sides of her legs. I then sealed her glittery costume & stars with a layer of gloss enamel varnish.
I made her a gold belt with removable lasso in the style of the vintage POP figures.
To finish her look I styled her hair using the boiling water method & gave her earrings which are made from 2 small star craft gems.
