The main inspirations for Professor Pyg came from the song "Pygmalism". Both the song and character are references to the play Pygmalion, reflected in the character's desire to transform people into an idealized state. It’s true that I’m crazy about this character, while I still cannot figure out any clues why he is wearing a mask of ‘pig’ all the time. Maybe, the same pronunciation?

Pity that there are very few figures of the character, maybe there’s just one which came from arkham knight series, I don’t know. I’m not a fan of the setting that Professor Pyg wears a pair of slippers, it is what he does in the video game, now that Professor Pyg appears in the TV show Gotham, I decide to come up with a more realistic sculpt with the idea of the TV show. The base figure is NECA Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and I re-sculpted the whole head and the surgical gloves.

Well, it’s my first time trying to sculpt a head, and I hope it doesn’t come out so disappointing. And I just wonder if there is a way to turn the pig ears into soft material because they are so fragile, and if you got some way, please let me know. Thank you!
