This is a custom figure I was asked to make of Supergirl in the style of the vintage ‘She-Ra princess of Power’ figures from the 1980’s.

To make her I used the head & legs from a vintage She-Ra figure, the upper body from a Peekablue figure & the arms from a Castaspella figure.

I started by sanding the details off her upper body & repainting her costume with enamel paints. The symbol on her chest is a decal which is normally used for nail art. I sealed the decal with a layer of enamel varnish for extra protection
I also made her a glittery red cape & skirt with metallic gold belt in the same style of the vintage pop figures.

I finished her look by styling her hair using the boiling water method.
