So, almost ten years ago now, me and a couple friends started to take up the idea of customization. It took us a bit before we started buying stock and messing around with it, and then the trial and error of learning. I think it was about six years ago when they decided to not continue, and I opted to stick with it completely. They gave me their stock, and every now and then I fix them up a figure. One likes original designs and had an idea for a Necromancer type character. To follow up on a cybernetic minotaur I made him a while ago. He gave me all the parts, but if I recognize some of them right, they're mostly on AngelForge now. Grabbed them way back in the Slayer days. The rest are random Joe parts. We bounced back and forth with assembly ideas, including some skull shoulder pads that wouldn't work properly since the arms are pretty snug in the shoulder space there. Opted for bone spikes instead, with trails of blood and some necrotic energy coming off of them. Blades were cut to look a little more bone like, then glued to his arm, with some sculpt added around it to look a little shredded. Rest was done with mostly drybrushing, and an alternate head added, and a couple weapons. I like working on original projects, and actually got commissioned to make a few recently. Been some fun endeavors.
