My contribution to the Fwoosh's annual Secret Santa event. Went to Supertom, one of my all time favorite customizers. Lots of dremeling and modifications to the base figure. Accessories were lots of fun to make. I tried to match him to the in-game model as much as I could.
Ellie is on the way.

I can tell you guys first hand, this figure is amazing. I was completely floored when I saw how he was made because you'd never know holding it in your hand that this was a kit bashed and dremeled franken-figure. Brilliant work.

Good lord, this has got to be the best figure-rendition of the character ever. The way you faded out the plaid shirt, and all the detail work you put into the face is just phenomenal. Looks JUST like Joel! Bravo, sir! Eagerly awaiting Ellie as well!

I studied the game model as much as I could, then painted the shirt as if it were brand new. Then I drybrushed white, and did a few white and light brown washes, and added some blood/dirt stains. At times I thought I did too much, but other times I thought it looked perfect. I think I just had the wrong green base colors, though.
