I'm not a huge fan of the Harley Quinn design in the Suicide Squad film, but I did want to own an action figure representation. I didn't get the SH Figuarts version or the MAFEX version in the hopes I might be able to find the parts to make one, and I finally did. The base is a combination of a knockoff Harley Quinn by a company called Crazi Toys, I think it's based on the MAFEX iteration of Harley, but the proportions - especially her lower body -are kinda off. Still, the head, jacket, upper torso, arms, feet and accessories from this are very usable, so I bought it with the intention of grafting some of the parts onto a different body.
That different body turned out to be a Dazzler. I decided I could save the upper torso because I didn't want to sacrifice the beautifully-printed "Daddy's Little Monster" printing on Harley's shirt. So I used the lower torso/abs and the thighs from Dazzler, and took the calves from Wasp and Misty Knight. I took multiple guesses at where I should cut the thighs to splice the heels in, and the first several guesses were all comically wrong, resulting in Harley having these stilt-like legs.
Sculpted the lower part of her shirt and spliced everything together. Then, I painted it up, trying to be as accurate with the many tattoos as possible. For the fishnets, I took them from a DCUC Zatanna. Fishnets are not fun to work with, and this custom looks hideous from the back. Still, I think the effect is passable from the front, especially covering the tattoos. I sculpted on the cuffs of her shorts and of her shoes over the fishnets, and cut the belt off the afore-mentioned knockoff Harley figure too. Thanks for looking, and have a happy new year Realmers!
