This is a custom I was asked to make of a character called Tallstar from the classic She-Ra cartoon series.
There was an official figure of Tall Star planned to be released back in the 80’s as part of the Princess of Power toy line but unfortunately she never got past the prototype stage.
So the prototype is the figure my custom is based on.
I used a vintage She-Ra figure as a base.
After sanding down & re-sculpting new details on her body, I added plastic straws from children’s drinking cups for her neck, waist arm & leg extensions. I then made her an outfit to match the one of the prototype & gave her a wand belonging to the official MOTUC Tall Star figure.
She-Ra’s blonde hair was removed & completely re-rooted with new pink doll hair which I styled using the boiling water method.
