Another new one for 2017! This guy took a long time, but I finally got him done.

The base model for this Storm Shadow custom was the Marvel Legends Vance Astro toy.
Everything you see on him was sculpted with putty, from his boots and pants to the various straps, pouches, holsters, his left shoulder-pad, knee-pads, ninja mask, belt and his gauntlets.
After the sculpts were done, Tamiya paints were used, along with Americana paints. The removable hood was cut from a white cloth, and craftwire was used to give it the shape.

All of his weapons were customized in some way. Some swords & daggers were made from scratch, other were bought on ebay, like the large katana blade. The uzi stored upon his chest is held there via a small 5mm magnet, and there is another magnet placed behind his red belt, so that the submachine gun can be stored there alternatively.

In total, my Storm Shadow has 7 swords [small and large], 3 assorted guns, and 1 grappling hook [which is wrapped around his left shoulder].
