This is a custom I was asked to make of the MOTUC She-Ra Galactic Protector figure but in the style of a Vintage Princess of Power figure. I had to design her to fit in with the vintage She-Ra figure line from the 80’s & also the New Adventures of He-Man figure line.
To make her I used a vintage She-Ra figure as a base & the helmet, sword & shield from the MOTUC She-Ra Galactic Protector figure.
I started off by painting the vintage figures new costume using Humbrol enamel paints & replaced the original jewel on her chest with a blue one.
To help make her tie in with the other vintage POP figures I made her cape & skirt using fabric from an old Barbie dress. I thought this iridescent Barbie fabric was perfect as it had a nice futuristic look to it.
I decided to keep the design of her accessories a lot more simple looking than the actual MOTUC figures skirt & cape as I thought this would also help give her that vintage look.
I then painted her helmet to match the silver of her outfit & kept it one colour.
Finally I shortened her sword to make it a better fit for the vintage figure.
