I had the Rocket Raccoon wave Scarlet Spider, but I really thought it could be improved and this is my attempt at improving. I wanted my version of Kaine to show his suit's stealth ability and also have his wrist stingers. The base parts were Pizza Spidey head with sculpted over eyes, Absorbing Man wave Sensational Spider-Man hands, upper torso, and shoulders, Rhino wave Scarlet Spider arms, legs, and lower torso. The stealth arms and legs are from the Target exclusive phasing Vision. The stingers are just fixit sculpt over some wire. I put a loop in the wire at the base of the spikes so they could be used with any hands. The stealth feet are just the standard Spider-Man feet casted in Smooth Cast 325 so they'd be clear. Paints were Model Masters acrylic red and Tamiya flat black, clear red, and flat clear. In hindsight, I regret using flat clear on the stealth limbs since they don't look completely transparent anymore, but it's not terrible looking. Without a doubt the hardest part of this was preventing paint rub in the butterfly shoulders and the costume logos. To make the logos I essentially made a stencil by printing the logo on printer paper, covering each side of the paper in clear packing tape, and then using an Exacto to remove the Spider logo. Then a little spray adhesive to attach the stencil and I sprayed the logo on. I had to use a micro pen to touch up some spots on the logo, but I'm very happy with how it turned out.
