I have been wanting Magma for a while, but I just knew if I wanted to make her it had to be done really well. So, time went by, and shuffling through my packed away figures I came across Dark Phoenix Marvel Select Special Edition. The head was perfect for a Magma figure, however I spent a great deal of time sanding down the face to fit in Kitty Pryde body. I brought in the jaw line, shaved down the under chin and the chin, defined the cheek bone area a little bit more. Also, painted red highlight lines for detail on flaming hair and translucent face and added xtra metallic silver painted eyes. I think the finished product looks great! I'm very happy with the result, hope you like.
